Metal 3D printing

DMLS, SLM, critical parts.

Metal additive manufacturing does not replace machining: it makes feasible parts machining cannot produce, and available parts nobody makes any more.

When additive is the right choice

Complex internal geometry, weight reduction through topology optimisation, one-off or very small series, conformal cooling channels. On a simple part made in volume, machining remains unbeatable — and we say so.

From design to inspected part

Design for additive is a discipline of its own: orientation, supports, thermal constraints, machining allowances. The part then goes through heat treatment, finishing and dimensional inspection.

Critical parts and spares

For equipment whose supplier has disappeared, additive combined with 3D scanning allows refabrication without redesigning the assembly. Every part ships with material traceability and a conformity report.

Use cases

  • Weight reduction through topology optimisation
  • Parts with complex internal geometry
  • Refabrication of obsolete parts
  • Shop tooling and fixtures
  • Functional prototypes in final material
